Best Clothing Subscription Boxes

Clothes are somewhat of a necessity and a luxury simultaneously. We need clothes. It isn’t legal to walk around naked – although we’re sure many of us would if it was (so freeing… Oh, just us?). On the other hand, many of us have way over the necessary amount of clothes in our wardrobes, often we don’t want to outfit repeat and it takes a lot to resist an expensive designer purchase when we feel like we deserve it and can afford it (I’m looking at you, £70 plain, black t-shirt).

Shopping can be such a chore!?

While many people absolutely love shopping; putting on a fashion show in the dressing rooms; filling that online trolley to the brim… A lot of other people hate it. Clothes shopping is a chore to many; a waste of precious time in their busy lives. Not everyone wants, or has time, to go out for a new shirt or dress when they get a last-minute invite to that party or important meeting.

Clothing subscription services are perfect for anyone looking to spruce up their style or find some new brands. They’re also great for anyone loves great clothes and doesn’t have the time to look for them, or even those who respect that we do need clothes, but just can’t be bothered to shop for them. There are subscriptions for men, women, kids, babies, fancy clothes, casual clothes and even activewear. Clothing subscriptions entail a scheduled delivery of fresh clothing to your door, usually monthly, that has been picked out by a virtual stylist depending on your chosen specifications.

Effortless shopping, quality clothes and the never-ending style possibilities – isn’t this everything you’ve ever dreamed of? Here are our favourites.

Children’s Clothing Subscription Boxes

1. Bundlee

Bundlee baby Clothing Rental

From £19.99

Bundlee is a rental subscription service for baby clothes. New-born babies grow so fast; some even grow out of 3-month sized clothes in just a month, meaning you’ll constantly be buying new clothes if you didn’t stock up on clothes for the year beforehand. Bundlee want to make it easier to be sustainable when shopping for your new children, and with the growing market of online clothes rental sites, we love this idea!

Bundlee’s website states that on average, UK parents are spending £560 a year (!!!) on baby clothes. Buying just one new baby grow wastes 3,000 litres of water and emits 7kg of carbon dioxide. This leads to a crazy amount of waste, especially if you don’t reuse them. Bundlee offer an easy way to reduce waste along with a more affordable way of dressing your baby in the best clothes – you can return old clothes for free and you don’t have to worry about stains because they give you free renting insurance! All of their clothes are professionally cleaned, made in the UK and Oeko-Tex certified (meaning they don’t contain any nasty chemicals). Each box contains 15 items of clothing with free delivery and returns.

Price: £19.99 per month

2. KidPix

Kid Pix Childrens Clothing Subscription

From £20

KidPix is an online shopping platform for emerging and experienced independent kid’s clothing brands. It was started by two Oxford graduates, Sian and Katya, and offers a personal shopping experience for parents who are too busy to shop for their children’s new clothes. The KidPix box is available in the UK and connects buyers with independent brands without them having to do anything!

You just have to take the styling quiz which asks for the age/gender of your child and whether they wear classic or contemporary clothing (or a mix). They then ask for your child’s size and if there’s anything you don’t want to be sent, such as dresses or dungarees. Finally, they ask if there are any colours you don’t want and your budget. You just have to pay a one off £20 styling fee and leave the rest to them! Once your box arrives, you’ll send back anything you don’t like and only be charged for the clothes that you keep. Note: the styling fee is used as credit, but if you return everything you don’t receive the £20 back.

Price: From £20 per month

All in all, these boxes are perfect for anybody who’s too busy to shop. They take away the stress and hassle of shopping for new clothes, save customers heaps of time and let them feel their best in the clothes that they love. Our favourite is definitely Bundlee, we love the sustainability aspect and think it’s a fun, quirky and extremely innovative idea – this service would definitely be a huge help to busy, new parents! We also really like Fabletics, too and think that Basic Man is perfect for staples!
